FMPI's students nominated for the I4N Poland!
We are proud to announce that three students from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the University of Gdańsk have been nominated for the Polish Final of the International Innovation for Nuclear Europe Competition!
Marta Wróblewska, Paweł Obara and Adrian Hadrzyński have been qualified for the Polish pre-selection within the European I4N Europe - an innovation competition organized by the European Nuclear Society Young Generation Network. This event aims to encourage young people to create new and innovative technologies, applications or nuclear systems. It is also an opportunity to expose and discuss the topics of proposed projects.
This year's edition's motto is: Nuclear Technology - an opportunity for economic development.
FMPI's students will take part in the I4N Poland (Polish finals) with a project titled: Method of reducing the negative impact of warm waste water from the external circuit of a nuclear power plant on the water ecosystem through its economic use. The Polish finals will take place at the Academic Nuclear Energy Forum in Cracow, between April 9th and 11th.
The winning team will represent Poland in the European I4N finals, which will take place in Zagreb (Croatia) on June 2nd - 6th, 2025, as part of the ENYGF25 conference. More information can be found HERE.
